The 2nd arrondissement
Even so it is closeby the 1st arrondissement, the 2nd arrondissement has less historical places to offer. It's the neighborhood of the Bourse (stock exchange), covered walkways and of the Sentier. It is adjacent to the Grands boulevards. Close to the Opera, you will find many Japanese restaurants and shops. The Sentier is traditionally an area of wholesale industry for clothing.

Most buildings are from the 17th and 18th century.
